LIMITED EDITION SET OF BROADFLYER ARTWORK
Broadflyer = bastardisation of 'broadside' and 'flyer'
Unbeknownst to the public at large, to help highlight new paperback titles, Tangerine Press have sent out promotional 'broadflyers' to selected bookshops across the UK and very occasionally abroad.
These proved to be so popular with booksellers that they decided to release them as a limited edition set in a custom portfolio.
To celebrate this event, their in house designer Mick Khartoum has not only signed the 'bookplate' pasted into each portfolio, but designed other broadflyers for titles that had no paperback edition.
NINETEEN BROADFLYERS for the following titles:
Archie Hill — A Cage of Shadows; James Kelman — A Lean Third; John Dorsey —Being the Fire; William Wantling — Heroin Haikus; Mick Guffan — Inner London Buddha; William Wantling — In the Enemy Camp; Alexander Binder — Kristall ohne Liebe; Iain Sinclair — My Favourite London Devils; Charles Bukowski — Poem for Dante; Erik Weber — Seeing Richard; Oscar "Zeta" Acosta — The Autobiography of a Brown Buffalo; Chris Wilson — The Glue Ponys; Christopher Impey — The House on the Hill; Jack London — The People of the Abyss; Jenni Fagan — Truth; Billy Childish — The Uncorrected Billy Childish; Billy Childish — The Ward Porter; Alexander Binder, Ellie Davies, Jonathan Illingworth, Grant Willing — WUD.
